“This is fantastic! We are obsessed!”
In 2024, I was approached by Regal Cinemas to create storyboards for upcoming films for which I could produce stop motion videos. Alien: Romulus was of particular interest to me, and I designed the most thrilling Popcorn Bucket spot I could imagine. After completing it, I submitted the work to Disney (which owns 20th Century Studios, the production company for the movie). They gave me an enthusiastic green light and provided the resources necessary to bring the project as close to the storyboards as possible. Only one shot was cut for being a bit too scary, but I am extremely pleased with the final results. Both Disney and Regal were fantastic collaborators on this project, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team for not only this project but also my theatrical debut.
All products sold out on the day of release, marking a massive success. The movie grossed $108.2 million worldwide during its debut weekend. That’s a lot of eyes looking at my work.

“We love it!”
VENOM: The Last Dance Popcorn Buckets Theatrical Spot - Regal Cinemas
In 2024, Regal Cinemas asked me to create storyboards for upcoming movie releases with the chance to make stop motion ads promoting them. One project that excited me was Venom: The Last Dance because I’ve always loved Marvel and its characters. Venom was no exception. After finishing the storyboards, I presented them to Sony and Marvel. They approved right away and gave me everything I needed to make the video. When I completed the final animation, Sony approved it instantly and loved it!
Working with Sony and Regal was amazing. Sony’s support and kindness meant a lot to me. Thanks to them, I got to make an official Marvel commercial that played in theaters. And If you listen closely, you might hear some familiar voices.
