Here’s how the BIGGEST names in their industry interact with D.M. Galloway’s work

Brad Bird
Filmmaker and Animator
The Iron Giant, The Incredibles, Ratatouille
For my 25th birthday on July 11th 2020, I wanted to pay homage to a childhood favorite on all my socials. When I was four, I loved watching “The Iron Giant” (1999) and watched it constantly on VHS. To my surprise, on the morning of July 12, I logged onto Twitter and found that the film's director, Brad Bird, had shared my video with a very kind message.
He posted “It’s YOUR birthday— why do I feel like it’s mine? Thank you— and HAPPY 25th!”
This meant the world to me.

Amblin Entertainment
Amblin Entertainment (Film Production Company Founded By Director And Producer Steven Spielberg)
In 2019, I created an amateur Gremlins animation for a now-defunct toy retailer. Although I was highly critical of my own work, it left a lasting impression on two companies I would later collaborate with. NECA Toys, my future employer, shared the video and gave it an A+ rating. Then, in one of the biggest surprises of my career, Amblin Entertainment shared it and acknowledged my work by saying:
“GREAT WORK! TOO FUN!”
I credit this animation as the pivotal "butterfly effect" moment that led to my full-time position at NECA and opened the door to working with Amblin on a televised Jaws Marathon stop motion bumper for the SYFY Network.

John Cena
Actor and 17x WWE Champion
One of my first viral hits was a video titled “John Cena VS Ghostface,” in which Cena faced off against the main villain of the horror franchise “Scream.” In it, he performs his taunts, including “You Can’t See Me,” before getting eliminated with a knife to the brain by Ghostface. I promise I’m not a psycho; I was just a 16-year-old making something silly. I suppose YouTube thought it was silly too because it garnered over 1 million views. I went on to create more “John Cena VS” videos over the next 14 years, as they were quite popular. I met Cena in 2012 but never acknowledged who I was. In 2024, I made “John Cena VS Barney the Dinosaur,” and to my surprise, I was finally acknowledged by the man himself on his TikTok. I have been fortunate enough to watch Cena wrestle live over 13 times. I got to shake his hand and talk to him at a Toys "R" Us signing. But now here he was, showcasing my work to the world. He truly is Super Cena. Cena even referred to me as “The Stop Motion Legend DGDX” in a private “thank you” video. I won’t post that here, but if you ask me in person, I’ll happily play it on my phone.
